Evie Wilder

Milky Way, Night Sky & Wildlife Photography

Evie Wilder is a night sky and landscape photographer based in the American West, known for teaching small-group Milky Way photography workshops in some of the most iconic locations in the U.S. national park system.

She grew up in the Sierra Nevada mountains just outside Yosemite National Park, where dark skies and untamed landscapes first shaped the way she sees the world. Years of road-tripping across the United States deepened that connection, revealing vast landscapes, elusive wildlife, and breathtaking night skies that now define her work.

Photography is Evie’s way of translating experiences that resist easy description. She is drawn to the hours when the world slows, when stars claim the sky and early morning light stirs wildlife awake. Her images explore mountain ranges, desert badlands, and alpine wilderness, often capturing landscapes and wildlife beneath starlit skies.

Evie co-leads small-group night photography workshops with Astronomy Photographer of the Year Brad Goldpaint. Limited to eight participants, these immersive workshops provide hands-on guidance in the field at premier dark-sky locations across the United States.
